DESCRIPTION:*****UPDATE****THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT\, THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT**** \nTHIS IS A TICKET ONLY EVENT \nJoin us on the 05/11 for bonfire night with a small LOW BANG fireworks display… perfect for families with young children.  We’ll have a relaxed atmosphere\, with a cosy bonfire\, sparklers\, traditional bonfire food and warming hot drinks.  Our fireworks display will be short\, and we are not professionals so please accept that there might be some delays! Please also note that these are not “no bang”\, there will be some fizzes\, pops and crackles but there will be none of the really loud bangs. Admission will be from 5pm\, the plan is to light the bonfire soon after 6pm and to have the fireworks at around 6.45pm to allow for late comers. \nBUY TICKETS \nChildren aged 2 and under do not need a ticket. \nThis is an all outdoor event\, please dress expecting it to be freezing cold and muddy / wet! \nThis event is not suitable for dogs.

DESCRIPTION:Thank you so much for visiting us for Open Farm Sunday. \nHave you ever wondered about the story of beef or lamb from field to fork\, or how we farm organically in the North East of England? If so\, then this is the event for you! You’ll get the chance to visit parts of the farm that are normally inaccessible and ask lots of questions about organic livestock farming! \nOpen Farm Sunday at Broom House Farm was on Sunday 11th June 2023 \nNo tickets are required\, we’ll ask for a £2 cash donation per head on the gate for our 2023 charity. This will also give you an entry into our raffle to win a Forest Adventure family day pass. Please remember to bring cash as donations will be at the gate and we have no mobile card machine there. \nEvents  \n\nFarm tour (running every hour from 10:30am) to see arable land\, hay meadows and hedgerows\, and meet the shepherd\, sheep & sheep dogs  \nTractor ride to see cows & calves\nVisit the piglets\, laying hens and goats\nFarm machinery display & quiz\nWelly throwing \nNature scavenger hunt\nGuess the vegetable\nButchery demonstrations\nBBQ at the coffee shop from 12pm – please bring cash if possible to speed us up\n\nCome and join us to find out more about the fantastic organic farming we do right on your doorstep!  \nThe Forest Adventure will be open 10am – 4pm\, tickets are available online now (BUY YOUR TICKETS HERE!) \nThe Farm Shop will be open from 10.30am \nThe Coffee Shop will be open 9am–5pm \nFarm tours are aimed at all ages\, sturdy pushchairs will be able to access all areas.

DESCRIPTION:Our annual Charity Lambing Open Day will take place on Friday 14th April between 11am and 3pm. \nThis year the £2 (minimum) charge is going to the Great North Air Ambulance Service. Learn all about life in the lambing shed and hopefully see lambs being born. \nPlease wear your wellies or old shoes as the farm is a little clarty! \nHand washing with soap and water after visiting animals is vital. Sorry pregnant ladies must bot enter the lambing shed.
